Angel Wings Board Chair, Cari Hug, featured on PBS Broadcast.Please join us the evening of March 25 for a special event hosted by Idaho Public Television. Idaho Public Television received a grant to provide outreach and local programming around a major six-hour documentary on "Living with Cancer" that will air March 27th at 7:30 p.m. MT on PBS. It’s based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book, Cancer: The Emperor of All Maladies, by Siddhartha Mukherjee, MD. This six-hour, three-part documentary chronicles the 4,000-year effort to understand, treat and ultimately cure cancer. Cari Hug, A Breast Cancer Patient of 13 years, was featured for her on going journey with cancer. A patient of St. Lukes, MISTI, Fruitland, Mother, Chairman of the Board of Angel Wings Network, and active volunteer, tells her story and much more on how she made a promise with God to let her live till her kids graduation from High School, then she will give back to others. From 6-8 p.m. at the Special Events Center at Boise State, Idaho Public TV is screening clips from the series and providing a unique opportunity for nonprofits to present information about their programs. Angel Wings Network will be participating in this event and we hope to see you there!
