Wheels to Recovery Program

Transportation to and from cancer treatment can be a major obstacle for many patients in rural communities.  Not everyone has a family member or friend to drive them, especially when treatment requires travel to a neighboring city.  Fuel cost, travel time, and commitment is an extra burden on an already stressed mind.  Here at Angel Wings Network, Inc, we strive to fill the gap in service by providing FREE transportation to cancer patients in need.  We provide volunteer drivers who use their own vehicles or we have two Angel Wings vehicles to take folks to and from treatment whenever they need it.  We also offer fuel cards to help offset the cost of gas for volunteer drivers.  The "Wheels to Recovery" program also provides gas cards to patients and caregivers who transport cancer patients.
