Wheels to Recovery Program
Transportation shouldn’t stand in the way of treatment. For cancer patients in rural communities, getting to appointments can be a major challenge. That’s why Angel Wings Network offers free transportation through our Wheels to Recovery program.
We provide volunteer drivers, Angel Wings vehicles, and fuel cards to help patients and caregivers get to and from treatment—because no one should have to fight cancer alone. Volunteers are also welcome to use their own vehicles for transportation while we cover the cost of gas. If a driver will be working during a mealtime, we also offer lunch gift cards for the volunteer and cancer patient to grab a bite to eat on their way. All of our drivers are trained, prepared, and reliable.
