One-on-one mentoring for patients:
We know how important it is to have someone to talk to when you need it. Having someone to talk to who has gone through cancer can make all the difference. Talk one-on-one with our volunteer cancer survivors and caregivers who have personal knowledge and understanding of the disease.
Physical and financial support for our patients:
Wheels to Recovery: Patient transports are offered to our patients for a safe and reliable way to get to chemotherapy, radiation or medical appointments in Idaho and Oregon. Our friendly and reliable volunteer drivers are trained and certified, to provide safe and dependable transport.
Gas Cards: available to help with the cost of travel for families to chemotherapy, radiation, or medical appointments.
Meal Gift Cards: gift cards to area restaurants.
Gift Bags: 31 Gifts bags donated and delivered to every new patient!
Meal Train: is offered to patient/clients who are going through chemotherapy or radiation treatments. Meals are prepared by women of area churches in and around our rural communities.
Prayer Blankets: offer comfort to patients/clients and family members. Blankets are assembled by volunteers and each blanket is blessed and put together with a gift bag and delivered by a volunteer to a patient/client.
Lending Library: Angel Wings Network, offers to the community a lending library of books, resources material, brochures and additional information for answers to questions you may have on a specific disease type.
Weekly Outreach at Cancer Infusion Centers: offering mentoring, hand massage, and support.
Prosthetic and Wig Services: prosthetics, bras, compression garments, wigs, scarves, caps and hats.
Cleaning for a Cause: free two hours per month cleaning session from one of our friendly volunteers, to help maintain a clean living environment and provide relief to the patient.
