It is our mission to provide support and resources to cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, family, and loved ones who have been touched with cancer in our rural communities.
Angel Wings Network, Inc offers support, resources, and assistance over the phone or one-on-one in person with cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. Sometimes having someone to talk to about your worries and fears can help alleviate some stress. Our volunteers have personal experiences and a unique understanding of the cancer experience. We have connections to many different resources that can help cancer patients navigate their cancer journey. We strive to help in any way that we can.

OUR VISION:
Our vision is to continue growing as an outreach location within rural communities of Southwest Idaho and Eastern Oregon. Our service area is within a 70-mile radius of Weiser, ID, which includes 17 rural communities. We strive to be a recognized name and place for cancer patients, caregivers, survivors and their families to find hope, faith and support. We also want to help educate the public and increase awareness of all types of cancer for support and representation. |

What's Happening in 2022
In the first quarter of 2022, we launched our new program called "Cancer Care Pals" where our goal is to reach out to every active cancer patient once per month (or more if needed) to connect with them regularly. We want to avoid being a one-stop-shop for help. With this new program, we are able to engage more volunteers by partnering them with active cancer patients. We made well over 70 wellness calls in the first quarter alone. During the Cancer Care Pals phonecalls, we are able to check in with the patient and ask if they need anything. We are able to offer resources, financial help, and other support. So far, the program is going very well.
